Dr. David grew up in Pittsburgh, PA and received her B.A. in Environmental Studies from the University of Pittsburgh in 2009. While at Pitt, she started working with animals through an internship at the Animal Rescue League Shelter and Wildlife Center in Pittsburgh, and quickly fell in love with the veterinary profession and with shelter medicine. After working for a year at the PSPCA as a veterinary technician and adoptions counselor, Dr. David started vet school at the University of Pennsylvania School of Veterinary Medicine in 2014. During veterinary school, she completed externships at several shelters including the Animal Rescue League, Western PA Humane Society, Humane League of Lancaster County, and ASPCA. After graduation she worked in private practice before starting at The Spayed Club in early 2015. Currently, Dr. David works in TSC’s HQHV spay/neuter clinic is the veterinarian in charge of the the newly opened Primary Care Clinic. She also does relief work at a local private practice. Dr. David’s professional interests include shelter medicine, dermatology, preventative care, and surgery. In her free time, she enjoys kayaking, hiking, cooking, ceramics, and spending time with her friends and her girlfriend, Jackie. Dr. David lives in West Philadelphia with her two adopted rabbits, Sugar and Biscuits.
